A D&H w/b Belden Hill detour train waits for a CR e/b at SR in Lanesboro PA with three B&M units on 29SEP1985
A side view of the train seen at a more head on angle elsewhere. I believe this is JET 1, which was typically overpowered, probably in hopes there would be enough units still running at the end of the trip to get it into the terminal.
My notes dont show what train this is, but it was parked at Bevier St. At the time, JET 1 was the only train that did not yard at East Binghamton, so Im guessing this is JET 1 waiting on a crew. In a nice touch, the leader is one of the B&Ms last order of new power, GP40-2 303.
A 270 has left the yard and is about to cross over the Southern Tier at BD and head for Mechanicville, pushing the snow as it goes.
A roster shot of an ex D&H U23B that Guilford "transferred" to the Maine Central, along with a more traditional looking B&M unit.
