One other note about Crain Ave. It's where the westbound EL crews would pick up their train. Sometimes we'd change crews on the fly.
The Fairchild Ave. bridge over the Cuyahoga River and CSX replaced the aging Crain Ave. ridge just a couple hundred feet farther RR east about 14 years ago.
Crossing Fairchild Ave. up ahead.
More incoming stone.
I wonder what happened to these 2.
The crew now shoves the empties back to the Wheeling.
They had taken cars to Medina.
Wheeling 3034 and 7002 idle in the yard as 7023 and 7005 crawl into the east end. I departed before the 221 power got to the west end.
They'll back these empties into Rock Cut Siding for a later crew to take wast to Carey for reloading.
