Going away view of the coal trains power as a touring bike rolls south on MO 59.
The northbound train is stretched out along MO 59 between Lanagan and Anderson. This is a good spot in the late afternoon, as the orientation is such that theres good side light. We can also see all seven units here, including a pair of CSX GEs that must be lost.
The power set on the empty train was being used to balance power, and had 7 units up front, along with another pair in back. This is the head end rolling past the crossing north of Dorsey, and we see the only KCS unit on the train.
After rolling through Dorsey, the train passes the creek at MP 213, just south of Gravette
The coal train starts its 122 empties north out of the siding at Gentry.

Road power lays over while the local crew works in Sheboygan. The UP took operations over in Sheboygan when it absorbed the CNW. The Edgewater Generating Station is a large customer consuming Powder River Basin Coal located in town.
