A while back, a friendly CSX employee offered to take my camera into Curtis Bay yard to get some photos.
The disadvantages of film. You cannot change ISO and you cant take a test shot to see if your picture is properly exposed. Also, you tend to be more picky about what you shoot because you only have 24 or 36 exposures. These two images were a bit over exposed and the background is a bit soft in focus because of the low shutter speed I needed with the light. CSX 6229 is on SECS at CP-5 in Ridgefield Park, NJ 10/1997. Trailing are two GEs in blue paint. The first one may be a Conrail Lease GE, but the trailing unit is GECX 0594. I am not sure where they were going.
