S576 is passing the yard power.

Y110 works the south end of the CSX yard at Memphis Jct. on the south side of Bowling Green. R.J. Corman's Memphis Line interchanges with the Main Line Sub here (the also interchange with CSX's Henderson Sub at Guthrie).

Lots of interesting things to see at the CSX Niagara Yard.

My first ever pic at the CSX Yard shows the scene just minutes after a major thunderstorm passed through - with the late afternoon sunshine lighting up the entire yard - as the storm moves off on the horizon.

In the right place - right time - surprise category - on our way back from a day trip to the Medina Railway Museum, we happened to pass by the CSX Niagara Falls yard - just after a big thunderstorm roared through. Here you can see the rain clouds heading off on the horizon - providing a dramatic backdrop - with just about the entire yard lit up by the setting sun.

When NYSW took over as designated operator for the D&H, CSX and NS assisted by providing power. This SLN 4 is going to back out onto the Tier and go east behind a mix of support power, for now taking in the glow of the late afternoon sun as it awaits a new crew at Bevier St. Summer wild flowers add some color to the scene.
