An eastbound B&M train is ready to get out of town behind a mix of B&M and D&H power.
This eastbound left Mechanicville only a few minutes ago, and is now on the massive Hudson River bridge, heading past a westbound waiting to get in the yard.
B&Ms last new power was 17 GP40-2s in 1978. They sported the road name spelled out on the long hoods, and looked good even a few years into their service. The second unit, 300, would in a few years become part of a road slug set along with 301.
B&M 201 has been added to the consist, and will soon lead a train east toward Deerfield. The third unit, 300, would join 301 to become the power for the road slug set.
