Former BNSF Genset and CVSR Alco awaiting scrap. The CVSR was Sold to LTEX in return for leaser GP15s. 1822 is still in good condition with 182, and 4241 is apparently in rough shape. Shame to see these awaiting scrap

The Strang trim job is shoving the Trim Lead as EEWSR’s power is sitting in track Storage 5 at UP’s Strang Yard in La Porte, TX. The UPY 133 an CCRCL was built as Southern Pacific #7870 in April 1979. The CSXT 8478 a rebuilt SD40-2 was built as Pennsylvania Railroad #6177 an SD45 in December 1967.

A big cluster of CSX units sits at the engine shops in the Selkirk yard. Selkirk is a very cool and large yard. I recommend any out-of-town railfan visitor to this place try it out! You wont be disappointed!
