A Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad excursion train heads south into the Brecksville, Ohio station in October 2008. Engine #365 is a C420. Trailing second is RS18u #1822 and on the rear is C424 #4241! Cool all Alco power for my first CVSR train. The train follows the Cuyahoga River in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The big concrete bridge was built in 1931 for Ohio State Route 82 and is named “Brecksville-Northfield High Level Bridge.” Dad (RCJ I) and I followed this train! I will include more pix of it as time permits! Date approx. (Canon 35mm S.L.R., Fuji 400 print film)
one of the former CVSR Alcos here, 1 of 3. All 3 were sold here in a deal that leased the CVSR GP15s. 1822 is still in good shape but will probably be Scrapped.
Former BNSF Genset and CVSR Alco awaiting scrap. The CVSR was Sold to LTEX in return for leaser GP15s. 1822 is still in good condition with 182, and 4241 is apparently in rough shape. Shame to see these awaiting scrap
By painting the support. This painting of a CVR train behind an RS 18u adorns the support of the bridge that passes over the station at Akron Northside.

I love my Nikon for shots like this. I can one hand these shots all day long.
I'm on Hickory St. The next crossing is also Hickory St. as it has looped back across the track just ahead of this train.
Being pulled north
What fine weather we've had.
See the filter ports? When they change those filters, they'll be bright blue. Love me some greasy grimy Alcos. :-)
