ACL 4-6-2 #1694 - Atlatnic Coast Line         
Built by Baldwin in June of 1924, Atlantic Coast Line 4-6-2 #1694 was a solution that the ACL and Baldwin mechanical engineers designed as a dual purpose locomotive to take care of the growing needs of both passengers and freight. Baldwin built a total of 165 of these between 1922 and 1926. ACL #1694 lasted until being scrapped in April of 1953 at Waycross, GA. . Specs - P-5-B class, 69" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine wt of 285,745 lb, tractive effort of 45,275 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.
