PRR 9356
Title:  PRR 9356
Description:  Photographed sitting behind a fence near the Museum of the American Railroad in Fair Park but reportedly owned by Dallas Terminal Railway is a former Pennsylvania 44 Tonner. The only visible markings is a faded TSI on the cab and 449 on the frame. An internet search reveals this locomotive was delivered as Pennsylvania 9356 (the last 44 tonner built for PRR) in August 1948. This locomotive worked for both Penn Central and Conrail but that's where the trail grows cold. After PC/CR I could not find any information on her whereabouts and how TSI 449 ended up on painted on the side but instead of being scrapped she ended up on Dallas Terminal Railway.

Title:  RRVHS 7777
Description:  Originally owned by SWEPCO and donated to the Red River Historical Society for a never launched dinner train. Now sitting abandoned near downtown Shreveport for the past 15 or so years. The two passenger cars coupled to this locomotive have become a homeless shelter, crack house, and toilet. This is a real pity.

Description:  This is the "insturment panel" of this abandoned 70Tonner. The metal placard to the right states "Never Operate Over 35 Miles Per Hour". This former SWEPCO unit has gone from an industrial switcher to a crack house. A sad end for a rare item.
