| This diesel has a long career. Built in June 1942 for NYSW, requisitioned by the US Navy and rebuilt with six axles and a narrow cab for service on the Trans-Iranian Railway November 1942. After WWII the ALCO returned to the United States and worked for the Navy, then Texas Industries and was retired in 1999. In 2000 she was dontated to the Museum of the American Railroad Dallas and is listed as stored serviceable. |
