Here is the right side of a photo by Wallace M. Rogers that was published originally in the February 1943 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 53. Partial Photo Caption: "Here is one of the very few action photos ever taken of this streamlined passenger giant." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6100, the S-1 (6-4-4-6) "Big Engine" built in Juniata during January of 1939 and retired in January of 1949 after just ten years of revenue service. It's speeding with "The General."
