UP 7231 was the second or trailing unit for a westbound UP freight at Chamois, MO on 12-12-2021. I was looking basically SE for this photo.

This one snuck up when I was napping!

I call it Chestnut, but its owners might have another name for it.

An unusual sight on CSX, a coal train with locomotive power from out west. Also all of the coal hoppers were from the west- CMO, CTRN, CNW, UP, etc. Train number was U811-13. I hope to see more of this in the future.

DPUs push a long coal empty train up the grade into Palmer Lake. As much as I hate to admit it, the Armour Yellow looks good in this setting. Well, wait, the mountains make anything look good, so nevermind!

DPUs on empty coal shove upgrade into Palmer Lake. This train had 6 AC units (2 up front, 2 in the middle, and these 2).
