Southern Pacific (SP) 9900 - EMD DD35

Richard Curts caught this shot, unfortunately the date is unknown. Right about the time Amtrak was getting caught up on their own power orders, they returned the F7's to the SP.

LA 13½ catches a U50 and a DD35 out in his front yard at Industry Yard, near the 27 X-Overs.

A westbound Hauler leaves SPs West Colton Yard heading for Los Angeles headed by a rare U50 / DD35 lashup. By the middle of the next year, the SPs U50s were gone...

Just out of High School, knew nothing about decent cameras, but I knew what I liked. This was a 126 film slide.
