Oil Power. Here is an original 35mm color slide by Michael A. Tedesco that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 14 August 1970. Prominent here is Penn Central engine #2614, a GF-25 built by General Electric as Pennsylvania Railroad number "2514" in October of 1962, rated at 2,500 horsepower, and renumbered "2614" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Note that the original numeral "5" has been painted over with a "6."
