5 locomotive units wait along the Chemical Coast near the Port Elizabeth Cargo Terminal. Near exit 14 on NJ turnpike and by the Newark Int'l Airport.
NS 5293 runs light up the Chemical Coast to wait at the Port Elizabeth Terminal for its next job.
Conrail crew JR-2 brings the train to a stop at the north end of BARB siding, to await the OI-16 crew to pull up beside & swap crews; these 2 units will now take the OI-16 south (away from the camera) for Browns Yard in Sayreville, NJ
Rescue crew JR-2 continues northward on the siding at DCS BARB with the OI-16 train, passing the power from todays ethanol train, sitting on the refinery siding
Conrail Shared Assets crew JR-2 pulls the OI-16's train away from its power (towards the camera) into the siding at DCS BARB, due to a drawbar problem on NS 1701 (seen in the distance)
Relief crew to the rescue.....upon hearing of Conrail Shared Assets train OI-16 having trouble just 2 miles to the south, crew JR-2 hops aboard 2 units in Port Reading yard and proceeds to the scene
on a very cold morning NS 5293 shoves some tank cars northward, the wind chill made it feel like 3 degrees, perfect day for train watching
