Once we made it into the city, traffic began to slow way down, despite being well past rush hour. However, that ended up being a very good thing, especially when deathstar black caught my eye. CN L535 was waiting for permission into the city with a pair of Deathstars, and thanks to the slow moving traffic, I was able to get a pretty clean shot of the train with the Chicago Skyline in the back. Awesome!

Barely able to get all four locos in the photo at the same time.
The four unit locos continue west on the former Elgin, Joliet and Eastern mainline wiuh its string of freight cars. Barely got all four in the photo with the last one, CN #3807, showing just its rear end.
Following its lead sister is Illinois Central SD70 #1025 as it finishes crossing Broad Street in downtown Griffith, IN.
