The 9044 leads a southbound intermodal between Cedar Hill and Adams. The north end of the Cedar Hill passing siding was extended to this location as part of a capacity improvement project in 2006

CSX 9044 splits the signals at Riverdale Park with westbound autorack train Q249. The former B&O style color position light signals are still in use, but the replacement Safetrans are already in place and just about ready to take over.
