CSXT 635 - CSXT 417 with 80 cars
Eastbound
H795 has picked up auto racks from the NS and is now making a wye move to head back north to Toledo. Nice way to end the hour.
Q438 grinds east through Woodbourne led by CSX AC60CW 635 and CSX AC44CW 334.
A pair of AC's lead a short-ish Q438 through Locust at 1016.
CSX 635 is on Q-438 at Ridgefield Park, NJ 10/5/2014
CSX train Q518
Four days later, same train, same two beauties. And 3129. It doesn't get any sweeter.
On January 9, 635 and 647 are in charge of Q010. 3129 is along for the ride. I love the big gold CSX on the '60s.
Too many trains is a nice problem to have.
Q010, an all-UPS train, is rolling after having been held up for a signal maintainer.
The next two shots couldn't happen because I had to swap batteries. Now suppose they ran something around this train. Our friend on the eastbound would never hear it.
A big CSXT 6000 horsepower is in charge of the Q019-14 late in the day.
The trains would be passing by every 15 minutes from this point on. Made for a very interesting afternoon

CSX 3014 BLASTS NORTH WITH INTERMODAL IN-TOW AS CSX 635 WAITS TO TAKE AUTORACKS SOUTH.
CSX 635 WAITS FOR THE GREEN SIGNAL TO HEAD SOUTH.
CSX 635 WAITS IN THE POCKET FOR A NORTH BOUND CSX TO PASS.
SOUTH BOUND AUTORACKS WAITING ON A GREEN SIGNAL.
For several summers, CSX detoured several trains per day over the NYSW to ease traffic while the trackwork season was in full swing. Heres Q 156 rolling through Bevier St yard toward a connection with the NYSW to head for Jersey.
