P-2b 4-6-2 3673 has just embrged from the "thru" stall at the East Somerville roundhouse and will now move to a ready track at the rear of the gigantic building. Later in the afternoon 3673 will proceed to the coach yard with a group of coupled engines to powep commuter trains.
P-2b 4-6-2 3673 is ready to back into North Station for the afternoon commuter rush. Trains backed in and out with a trainman at the rear using the air brake and sounding the back-up "peanut whistle"
B&M P-2b 4-6-2 3673 is being overtaken by an RDC train at the throat to North Station Boston. There was barely a minute when a train wasn't passing this point during the afternoon rush.

The B&M 4-6-2 is at Lynn with an evening Boston to Marblehead commuter train. Steam was several years in the past where I lived in RI so I decided I would ride a steam commuter from Boston to Lynn before it was too late.
