Amtrak Ram Turbine Gas (RTG-4) 65 and GP7 760 under the ICG's Saint Charles Air Line near 18th Street in Chicago, Illinois on an unknown day in September 1979, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Built in 1975, this was one of four ANF sets delivered that year to Amtrak. This set consisted of numbers 65 (44 seat power coach), 85 (72 seat coach), 84 (60 seat coach with bar-grill service), 83 (72 seat coach) and 64 (44 seat power coach). If the location is wrong on this one, please tell me!! :-) I remember very little about it other than that I was taking it on my way back from Washington, and I though "WOW!!! A GP7 still on Amtrak in 1994!! That's the main reason that it's here, as the photo and the scan aren't very good.
