Consler. Here is a photo by William H. Rau that was taken near Allegrippus, Pennsylvania, c. 1892. Photo Caption: "PRR Photo Train. Engine 663. Car 1382." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #663, a D-11A (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops during July of 1886 and retired in June of 1903 after just 17 years of faithful service. "From the Collection of John Gibb Smith, Jr."
Consler. Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in at the Passenger Station in Woodbine, New Jersey, c. 1900. At the right, note the horse-drawn taxi and the Joseph Rabinowitz clothing factory.
Consler. Here is a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #561, an A-5S (0-4-0) switcher built in Juniata during December of 1916 and retired in February of 1949 after 33 years of faithful service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
Consler. Here is a photo by H. Cotterell that was taken near York, Pennsylvania, on 26 June 1929. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6389, an B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during November of 1926 and retired in March of 1956 after 30 years of faithful service.
Consler. Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1934. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5091, a D-16SB (4-4-0) "American" built in Juniata as a D-16B during 1908, rebuilt as a D-16SB in January of 1917, and retired in January of 1935 after 27 years of faithful service. It looks to me like this once-proud passenger engine has been demoted to work/wire train service.
Consler. Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Cleveland, Ohio, c. 1938. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8091, a K-3S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during May of 1913 and retired in July of 1949 after 36 years of faithful service.

Consler. Here is an original color photo (converted to B&W) by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Tyrone, Pennsylvania, in August of 1955. An unidentified Pennsylvania Railroad Class L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" is powering a northbound coal train on the Bald Eagle Branch. Note the smoke plume from the tail-end pusher!
