Description:  The Arkansas-Oklahoma RR had a fleet of Super 7 GEs that it painted in a scheme reminiscent of the Rock Islands bright red and yellow scheme from the 1960s, appropriate since they ran part of the Rocks Choctaw Route across Oklahoma. Here we see an eastbound at McAlester, where the Rock and MKT once crossed.

Description:  back in the 70s. Where once the MKT and Rock Island crossed, now its UP and short line Arkansas & Oklahoma, the successor on the segment of the Choctaw Route from Howe to McAlester, with an operation in OKC as well. At least the AOK unit looks almost authentic.
