Train 65 didnt continue onto Newport News so the consist turned here.
In the consist of train Q369. Stopped on the west end of the Connellsville CSX Yard on Track 4 due to a derailment accident. This engine was not involved in the accident, luckily.
A switcher and an AEM7 are plastered with snow in the wake of "Snowzilla".
One doesn't often associate Amtrak with coaling towers, but in the middle of the carrier's Ivy City engine terminal, a remnant of the past still stands. Amtrak SW9 792 swings around one leg of the wye as it heads to work on January 22nd,"2015. AMTK 792 was built as Montour 73 in May 1952.
