Starting to see Up Ace's alot of coal trains now day's. Anyone know why?
UP 7129 is the middle unit of three on a westbound freight near Tipton, MO in July 2005.
Had the opportunity to ride up front on SHOHO-17 (Officer Special). In this shot, were westbound on the Sunset line, weve just come through Memorial Park, crossed Buffalo Bayou and are approaching the San Felipe Rd crossing. Wed go out to Sugar Land before UP 1989 would take us back.
Three UP GE's lead an empty coal train north at Leipsic Junction. This train came from Tennessee and is heading for the Powder River basin for another load of coal.
