GE built this 80 ton switchder in August of 1952 as USAX #1678 (serial #31360). In 1989, the locomtoive was rebuilt by the Chrome Locomtoive company. It was acquired by the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum (RGVRRM) in upstate New York, where it is now operated as their #54. No photographer was listed for the photo which is now in my collection. |
