Two GP40s shove back into New Brighton, only time I ever saw two GP40s leading A406 out of town.
Wisconsin Central GP40 3021
With all three EMDs in run eight and the sanders working to give the train traction, the WC just barely makes its way up the hill. The transfer has just crossed Central Ave.
WC 3021 slowly makes its way up grade with the 7524 trailing. I wish I had used my better lense when I took this.
A very nice lead unit on todays A406. Much nicer then a CN unit!
WC 3021, a veteran from the old Baltimore & Ohio, trails two other EMDs on its way back to Wisconsin.
Havent seen this engine since 2004. Its ridiculous the amount of change in such a little amount of time.
The whole train squeezes thru$Waukesha quickly for its skip to Burlington, WI.
Power for this week's L504, often out before dawn, slept in Friday until 8:42 a.m.
