Wrecked Caltrain 3819         
Caltrain 3819 lies charred amongst the wreckage of a March 11 collision with Maintenance of Way equipment. The accident occurred just north of the Millbrae Caltrain/BART station. Nobody was killed, although 13 people were injured. F40PH-2CAt 919, which had been leading the train, derailed and received damage to the front pilot and nose. Car 3819, the first car on the train, caught fire and partially burned. It is unlikely 919 or 3819 will return to service.
