GN 4-8-0 #749 - Great Northern
Good looking example of a Rogers Locomotive Works 4-8-0 twelve wheeler or "Mastodon" type steam locomotive built in 1899, just a couple years before Rogers would merge into the ALCO group. Surprisinglyu quite a few of this class lasted until WWII. Specs - serial #5549, class G-3, 55" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 20x24" cylinders, engine weight of 176,000 lb, tractive effort of 35,706 lb.
