GN 4-8-2 #2525 - Great Northern         
Beautiful example of long and powerful Baldwin 4-8-2 "Mountain" type steam locomotive. Built in October of 1923, one noted railroad authority (Drury) noted that these locomotives in the class "were successful passenger-haulers and were considered by many to have the best-looking Great Northern engine class". Specs - class P-2, serial #57345,coal burner rather than oil, 73" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 29x28" cylinders, engine weight of 357,000 lb, tractive effort of 54,838 lb.
