| We are now westbound for Wayzata. We are approaching the pedestrian overpass at Bryn Mawer park on the outskirts of downtown Minneapolis. Note the Kenwood water tower in the upper left corner and the unkempt grounds to the left. It is the northern border of the site of Great Northern's Lyndale yard. Rumor has it a GN engine is buried under the ground here. Perhaps 261 might have a GN friend one day? |
