Toledo-Detroit R.R. #16
This locomotive was constructed in 1915 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works (4–4–0 builder's class 8-30C 698). It was ordered by the Midland Pennsylvania Railroad in July 1914 but once completed it was sold (through T.E. Herrick) to the Toledo-Detroit Railroad just before that road was merged into the DT&I in 1916. First perserved when it went to the Edison Institute in 1930. Number 16 was traded to the Illinois Railway Museum in 1983 for B&LE #154 (a 1909 Baldwin 2–8–0).
