Here is the second of two photos taken by Frank Clodfelter. It was published originally in the October 1948 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 31. Photo Caption: "Southern Railway's silvery Southerner has just cleared for New York behind a Pennsylvania Railroad GG-1, but the tower has already realigned the switches to permit this terminal engine to move across. In the background, you can see a steam-powered consist as well as another PRR GG-1 electric."
