Tom Beckett General Cool shot. Looking at it now, it's like you caught bigfoot and the Easter bunny in the same photo. I miss the mess that was Conrail in the late 70's. What a fascinating time to be watching trains in the northeast. 1/13/2016 2:28:34 AM

Alan Page General Thanks, Tom and Mike. Why is it that public sector-run rail systems always seem to come up with the ugliest paint schemes, as compared to the classy styles portrayed by their former private rail companies? Classy paint schemes were seen on all the Septa and NJDOT predecessor roads commuter locomotives, except for the bland PC "worms in love" scheme, of course. Compare the RDG FP7's, CNJ GP40P's and GP7's, EL E-8A's, and PRR GG1's and PRR or NYC E-units paint schemes to Septa and NJ Transit. 1/13/2016 4:54:28 PM
