BO 5043 - Baltimore & Ohio RR  Contributor's Pick!       
This 4-6-2 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, PA in 1911 as a 2-8-2 class Q-1. With help from Henry Priebe (below), this now has been identified as a doubleheader excursion back on 9/22/1946.

Tom Davidson General The 1911 P-1's were a different class. This P-1d engine was built in 1924 by B&O's Mount Clare Shops, using the boiler from Q-1aa 2-8-2 Mikado 4111. 10/14/2015 3:08:13 PM
