| BN SW1500 313 and NW2 559 at Clyde, Illinois on an unknown day in April 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 559 was built in February 1949 as CB&Q TR2B 9406B (c/n 6576) and returned to EMD in 1954 for installation of a cab, re-classed as an NW2. The cab that was installed was from SW7 production and has square windows over the hood instead of the NW2 cab which had arched windows in that location. It became BN 559 and was retired in October 1983. |
