| BN NW2 558 at Rockford, Illinois on June 24, 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This unit was built in February 1949 as CB&Q TR2A 9406A (c/n 6573). During 1954 the TR2's were broken up, the B-units were sent to EMD for cabs, and the TR2A's were re-classed as NW2's. Number 558 was retired by the BN in October 1983. |
