| Avondale Shipyard Inc. 80-ton GE No. 1 was built as serial number serial No. 15741 in October 1942 as Stone & Webster 1002 for use at the Volunteer Ordnance Works in Tennessee. It later became U.S. Army 7291 and then U.S. Air Force 7291 before going to Avondale, where it wore the numbers 1 and 1353. |
