Shown here is Harold Brett's painting entitled "Speed And Security." It was published originally in 1925 and republished in 1926. Prominent here is PRR engine #5357, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1924 and retired in February of 1949 after 25 years of faithful service.

Description:  Here is a photo by T. Martin Flattley, Jr., that was taken at the 59th Street Yard in Chicago, Illinois, on 6 August 1939. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6924, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during November of 1926 and retired in May of 1957. All of the locomotives pictured here are Pennsylvania Railroad K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics." Top Photo Caption: "This picture of the 5357 (1924) is from the G.F. Nixon collection." #5357 was built in Juniata during March of 1924 and retired in February of 1949. Right-Hand Photo, Partial Caption: "A study of engine 5344 shows the cylinderical electric headlight has been mounted on the platform which carried the old oil-burning headlamp, placing it in an odd position." #5344 was built in Juniata during March of 1918 and retired in October of 1955.
