Description:  Here is the first of three successive photos by John S. Fisher that were taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Passenger Station in Yellow Springs, Ohio, c. 1953. Note the rods connecting the Station with the semaphore signal at the left, by which means the Station Agent can change the semaphore's arm positions from inside the Station.

Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5866, an EP-20 built by GM-EMD in March of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. It's just departing the Station with a four-car passenger train bound for Columbus.

Description:  Here is an original photo by John S. Fisher. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5683, an LS-25 transfer diesel built by the Lima Locomotive Works in September of 1951, rated at 2,500 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. It was the last locomotive built by Lima. The road number of the N-6B cabin car, the date, and the location are not recorded.
