Album Info:Here are eight portraits of Pennsylvania Railroad miscellanea: electric locomotives, commuter cars, "Doodlebugs," etc. All but one of them come from 2.75" x 4.50" photos that I purchased in a single eBay auction conducted by Mr. Nathan Dahms on Tuesday, 19 January 2021. The photographer's name, the road number(s), the date, and the location are cited when available.

Description:  PMP. Here is an electric locomotive portrait via Bert Pennypacker that was taken in Thorndale, Pennsylvania, on 15 December 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1, an FF-2 (1-C-C-1) built by the American Locomotive Company for the Great Northern Railroad as number "5010" in October of 1927, acquired by the PRR and renumbered "1" in August of 1956, and retired in April of 1965 after 38 years of faithful service. Description:  PMP. Here is an electric locomotive portrait by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, during August of 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4, an FF-2 (1-C-C-1) built by the American Locomotive Company for the Great Northern Railroad as number "5014" in March of 1930, acquired by the PRR and renumbered "4" in August of 1956, and retired in June of 1960 after 30 years of faithful service. In this context, it's parked under the 17th Bridge in Juniata after being refitted and repainted before assuming its helper/pusher role at Thorndale. (#2 of 7)

Description:  PMP. Here is a portrait via F.R. Kern. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad prototype commuter cars #4689 and #4688. Both are gas-electrics built by Budd during 1933 and retired in 1943 after a decade of experimental service. Modern aluminum with wooden doors! The exact date and the location are not recorded.
