Description:  DMP-1. Here is an electric locomotive portrait via Bert Pennypacker that was taken in Thorndale, Pennsylvania, on 15 December 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1, an FF-2 (1-C-C-1) electric built by the American Locomotive Company for the Great Northern Railroad as number "5010" in October of 1927, acquired by the PRR and renumbered "1" in August of 1956, and retired in April of 1965 after 38 years of faithful service.
