| Alco-Schenectady built this massive 4-6-2 Pacific type loco in October of 1930 as Chicago, St Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha #602 (serial #68518, class E-3). This was the last one of 3 in the last class of Pacifics built for the CMO. According to one on-line source, these were the heaviest Pacifics to be built for any railroad. It lasted on the roster for nearly 25 years before being scrapped in 1955Specs - serial #68518, E-3 class, massive 75" drivers, impressive 260 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 347,000 lb and 51,567 lb tractive effort.
