| Baldwin built this steam locomotive in November of 1909 originally as the massive Chicago, Burlington & Quincy 2-6-6-2 #4005 (serial #34020, class T-1-A). The compound steam loco was rebuilt by the CBQ Denver shops in May of 1927 to an 0-8-0 configurationand renumbered CBQ #552. The rebuilt loco lasted until being sold for scrap in December of 1948. Rebuilt specs - 56" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x32" cylinders, engine wt of 256,300 lb and tractive force of 60,700 lb.
