CBQ 0-8-0 #551 - Chicago, Burlington & Quincy         
Baldwin built this steam locomotive in November of 1909 originally as the massive Chicago, Burlington & Quincy 2-6-6-2 #4006 (serial #34021, class T-1-A). The compound steam loco was rebuilt by the CBQ Denver shops in March of 1927 to an 0-8-0 configurationand renumbered CBQ #551. The rebuilt loco lasted until being sold for scrap in November of 1948. Rebuilt specs - 56" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x32" cylinders, engine wt of 256,300 lb and tractive force of 60,700 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo which is now in my rr collection.
