| Alco-Brooks built this 0-8-0 yard switcher in May of 1919 as Chicago, Burlington & Qunicy #549 (serial #61242, class F-1).After nearly 37 years of dedicated service, it was sold for scrap in August of 1956. Specs - 52" drivers, 175 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine wt of 214,000lb and tractive force of 50,060. No photographer was listed for the photo which is now in my rr collection. |
