| Alco-Brooks built this solid 0-8-0 yard goat in May of 1919 as Chicago, Burlington & Qunicy #544 (serial #61237, class F-1). It served the CBQ for nearly 35 years before being sold for scrap in April fo 1954. Specs - 52" drivers, 175 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine wt of 214,000lb and tractive force of 50,060. No photographer was listed for the photo which is now in my rr collection. |
