| A crew member approaches the beautifully restored New Hope & Ivyland 2-8-0 Consolidation #40. This was the first steam loco purchased for the tourist line and is still on the operational roster in 2025. Built by Baldwin in February of 1918 for the Lancaster & Chester RR at the cost of $25,125.96, it bounced over to the Cliffside RR before being purchased for the New Hope & Ivyland torurist line. This is a color slide taken by rail fan Jim Lockart and is now part of my colleciton. |
