| This good looking roster shot was taken by an unidentified rail fan while the loco was at rest in the Kansas City, MO, yard. Baldwin, 9/1923, nee-CMStP 2-8-2 #8382 (serial #57171, L-sb class) > renumbered in July of 1938 to MILW 482. The loco served for 30 years before being scrapped in April of 1953. Specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 292,770 lb and tractive force of 54,723 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo which is now in my collection. |
