Marion had rail service, courtesy of C&NW, from 1879 to 1982. The reporting mark is based on Great Lakes Veneer, Inc., a subsidiary of Marion Plywood Corp. and co-located at its Marion, WI facility. The GB&W depot once stood here, along the east (right) side of the north end of Avon St. It was later moved two blocks east to the N. Shawano St. grade crossing. It was later moved to a nearby business. |
